Comic Strip Generator

The AI decides after reading your joke, usually 2–6 panels: a two-liner tends to land at 2–3, a longer narrative at 5–6. It depends on how many lines there are, whether the scene needs establishing, and whether the punchline should land on a silent beat. v1 does not let you set the count directly, but once the storyboard appears you can edit every line and every panel description, or hit Storyboard again for a different take.

The lettering is drawn into the image by the model, not pasted on afterwards. In testing it reproduced both English and Chinese lines verbatim, punctuation and apostrophes included. It is still a generative model, so an occasional glitch is possible — just run it again.

Yes. The whole strip is generated as a single image rather than panel-by-panel and stitched, so faces, clothing, colours and the set dressing stay coherent across panels. This is the part most multi-panel tools get wrong.

Quoted dialogue is kept word for word. If you write in prose ("she complained about the cold"), the AI will author a short spoken line for that character — a comic needs an actual line to letter into the bubble.

Yes. Once the storyboard appears you can edit every line before rendering, and leaving a line blank turns that panel into a silent one with no bubble. The visual descriptions (shots, character designs, setting) are not editable — they go straight into the image model, and an open field there would be a way around the content rules.

Storyboarding takes about 10 seconds and is **free** — redo it as often as you like. Rendering starts when you hit Generate comic, takes about a minute, and that is the step that costs 10 credits. Do not refresh or click again while it renders. Credits are only deducted once the strip is generated and saved; if any step fails, you are not charged.
